The best price and quality post carbon filter there is
At the best price I will never have to buy a $20-$30 post carbon filter again. These are less than half the price of most other brands of the same thing. They last a year, it makes clean drinking water affordable to change the filters on time annually. I then run to a remineralization filter and the taste is great for a year in my RO express water system. I got this one on special, its one of the best deals I've got on Amazon this year. really helps make my water filtration replacement options cheap and affordable. Still beats the bay for prices and shipping times, and customer service. I shop on Amazon every time for the best prices, and guaranteed no hassle with sellers over damaged shipments, etc. It can't be beat, and is the best option for all my needs.

Perfect RO System Replacement
I own one of the US Water Systems all American Made 5 filter Reverse Osmosis systems. While doing my routine filter changing, I accidentally over tightened the final new filter and the elbow broke off inside of it. I was in a pinch because we use our RO system daily, and I had to get replacement parts pretty much the same day. Home Depot and Lowe's didn't have any of these types of filters, but Lowe's did have elbow replacements in stock. So I got the elbow at Lowe's, and Amazon delivered this filter that day. I installed everything and my RO system has been running like normal with zero difference in taste or quality. I would highly recommend this filter if you're in a pinch and need one quickly.

I use it as a secondary Pre-Filter on my fridge.
My Samsung Fridge already has a water filter built in. And it tells me when to change that filter. But in order to assure a good water quality, and the logevity of the stock filter, I allways place one of these in the water line before the fridge.

Hydronix Coconut filter for sweeter tasting water
I am using this as a finish filter on a Reverse Osmosis system. Makes the water taste better "a Little bit sweeter". Be sure to flush the filter before use as is says on the filter! Some dark charcoal power will exit the filter when you flush. I used RO water to flush at 40 psi and only flushed for a few minutes or about 4 gallons of water into a white bucket. {used this water to water house plants}. I tested the RO water before rinsing the filter with a TDS meter, and when the water coming out of the filter during flushing got close to the first TDS reading I stopped flushing. This filter does not have quick connects. I bought the connectors at Lowes 1/4" NPTF to 3/8" quick connect. If unsure just put the filter in a baggie and take it to you local hardware , ACE, HD or lowes. You can buy this filter here on Amazon with quick connects but it is about $6.00 more. I chose this one so I can just change the fitting to a new filter when I need one and I will be saving money! also, this way you can get the fittings you want straight or elbows, and the fitting size you want.

no funk taste
It was easy to install on the back of the frig, aside from installer error needing to replace a fitting (my bad), eventually got it. Changed this filter and the inside water frig filter at the same time, flushed out the system and haven't had any funky tastes. You definitely do not want to skip flushing it after installation.

Great-tasting water
Installed a Maxblue filter on our main fridge at the same time I added this one to my garage fridge. The Hydronix produces much, much better-tasting water. I had a little problem getting the line threaded in since the plastic is kinda soft and I'm using brass connectors, causing some thread damage and leaking. Had to take everything apart, add some more teflon tape and try again. Slightly deeper threaded inputs on this filter would be better. I wish Hydronix made XWF fridge filters!

Excelente filtro
Compre el filtro y lo adapte para poder colocarlo a un refrigerador, definitivamente cumplió la expectativa en calidad. Duró el tiempo que debió durar y el sabor de los hielos siempre se mantuvo neutro.

Great inexpensive filter
Great inexpensive filter. With a few fittings I put this inline with my kitchen sink tap. Our city water is very clear, but has a chlorine taste. This is a inexpensive alternative to a large multi stage cartridge system. I change it out every 6 months.
