Keeps mess out of sight

This unit keeps kitchen mess out of site. We did buy the AC power supply to replace the batteries. We were so pleased that we purchased a smaller unit for the bathroom.

This One Replaces My Old “Flip” & I Think This Won’t Be a “Flop”!

This little “person” is smaller than I thought but it will work for me. Two things: 1. Unpacking this little thing was a mess and very hard on my old, crippled fingers! There’s still chunks of styrofoam electro magnetic field included in my garage. 2. The instructions don’t tell you how to get to the battery compartment. Gee, it shows how to put the trash bag in, but not a word on how to get behind the odor thingy. Well, I went for it and pushed with those old crippled fingers again. Bam! I thought I broke it, but no all was well. I loaded up those big D batteries and “Flop” was alive and well!

Love how quiet it is, batteries don’t last

I bought this because a few reviews said how the batteries lasted longer than other motion trash cans, but I had brand new D batteries (4 of them) and they only lasted 3 weeks. We use our trash can but not constantly where I would think the batteries would go that fast! I will say this is extremely quiet you can barely hear it open which is amazing. I had a different brand for 4 years and it was so loud I couldn’t believe how quiet it is!

I love it

I love it. I don't like the price I paid, but I got what I wanted. Hands free when I am cooking and easy to use. It is a little sensitive I will say that, sometimes just walking by will set it open. I like that I can push a button and leave it open when dealing with meat cutting. No up and down on the lid. I know you can buy a plug in adapter, and honestly the price it should have came with one!! Easy to clean was something I was looking for and it's not white that shows every little thing that touches it.

What they don’t tell you

Smudge proof? Not particularly. Motion sensor is good but it does NOT come with any adapter. You have to buy it separately and you will need it. Alternative of 6 D cell batteries also not included is too expensive a choice. Unfortunately the description does not say this. I am still surprised no adapter is included and the description does not say you must pay additionally for that part.

Over Priced

This product works fine and looks great but the can is a bit cheaply made. In order to secure the top mechanism to the can, I have to squeeze the top of the can then push / snap the top piece into place. I feel $89 more than this product is worth.

Most unfunctional trash can

I’ve had this trash can for three months and I tried to like it. I do like the sensor feature but that’s about it. First of all the filter attachment fell off in the trash missing somewhere after a week. Then there’s a separate ring you have to put on to hold the trash bag in place. It’s a huge pain having to take the lid and this ring off every time. Also there’s no air hole at the bottom so it very often creates a suction vacuum that makes it so hard to get the bag out. I’m all about convenience and this is not it. If I could return it I would honestly. I wanted a trash can with a sensor but this one is a huge pain! Definitely look for another one unless you enjoy doing a lot of work taking your trash out.

Où était tu tout ce temps!

Quoi de plus pratique dans une cuisine... En train de cuisiner... Pouvoir jeter ses déchets sans rien toucher... Ah! Et la cerise... Payé seulement 37$....OUI...un retour pour un client insatisfait... Et un achat pour l'autre qui lui... En profite grandement. La dimension est parfaite pour une cuisine pas trop grande.. Cependant... Elle est peut être trop basse pour ceux qui sont grands ou on des problèmes de dos! Sinon... Elle fonctionne sur les même piles (2 X D) depuis 2 mois maintenant... Il y a un adapteur mural, mais... Les piles semblent durer longtemps pour l'instant! Elle contrôle très bien les odeurs!

Perfect fruit fly breading ground

Please for the love of god, DON'T BUY THIS. TLDR Excessive condensation mixed with hiding places amongst the wiring inside of lid = fruit fly covered walls. I am a neat freak. I have a planner for organizing my house cleaning routing. The problem with this garbage is it's seal isn't the greatest. I figured no problem, I take out the garbage often. The condensation build up was quite excessive, no problem, just alcohol wipe it regularly. The reason why this occurs is because where the wiring is lined through the lid has many holes. So try as I may, cleaning this garbage does nothing when I can't access a crucial area where the eggs actually hide.

Dog proof? Absolutely not

Well my dogs like it. They no longer have to knock over the garbage to get into it. Now they can just put their nose by the sensor and it opens up for them Lid doesn't lock to the base. Lid opens when laid on side. Golden doodle and Rottweiler both figured out how to open in within 2 hours. As dog proofing is your main reason for purchase, I'd pass.
