Valves leaked out of the 1/4 handles

Installed and found the cold flush side shutoff leaked right out of box from around the handle and had to complete remove and use normal shutoff. Then few weeks go by and start finding water on floor under the instant LP water heater. So I resealed input and output threads thinking it was leaking there. Still water found on floor again.So I watched it for a hour , nothing...no drips nothing.Then after hot water was called for and unit ignited the hot side valve began seeping hot water out same spot the cold side did , under the 1/4 turn shutoff handle on the flush side. Removed other midline hot valve and just installed Tee with shutoffs on both input and output. Tossed both hot and cold midline flush out valve assemblies in the box for trash and never had a single issue again! Would just save time and use Tees / normal shutoffs which is less headaches and much cheaper.
