No horse noises!

The horse head is soft and pretty. The stick is collapsible and this is great for storage. The sound did not work straight out of the package. This is disappointing as this item seems to have really increased in price and doesn't work or have the ability to change the battery. Buyer beware!

Either get rid of the sound feature or make it friendly to replace batteries

My mother-in-law gave us one to one that she bought on a garage sale, so because I didn't want my girls (3 & 2) to fight over it, I bought which turned out to be the same one here on amazon, it was a pleasant surprise about the galloping sound effects, I had honestly not read that part on the description. When I check the other horse stick, I found the sound mechanism but I figure the batteries were dead, only to find out that you can't change the batteries, how dumb is that? now I have the girls fighting over the one that makes sounds (until it stops working). Other than that the horse head and everything is a great classic toy.

No more horsey talk!

Love the stick horses I bought for my twin grandsons. Gave them to the boys for Christmas. Today, 2/11 one of the horses stopped making sound. No way to replace the battery! If there is a way, please let me know.

Sound button!

I got this as a gift for my 4 year old for Christmas and it’s only been three days but the button for sound has already stopped working! Kinda disappointed about the sound button but overall great product.

Batteries Irreplaceable

My son was so excited to receive this as a gift. In the same day, it stopped making noises. That wouldn't be an issue, but you CANNOT replace the batteries. This was something I failed to read in the description. It's made well and is a cute gift, just know when it stops making noises, thats it for good.

Good horse, bad sound

I bought this knowing the sound would be unlikely to work, given the reviews. As expected, it worked for about 4 presses and then stopped. It's still a nice horse for the money, but I wish it didn't even come with a sound, because it just created disappointment. I got two more as gifts and I'm going to make sure the sounds are out before giving them less we disappoint two more kids.

This was for my great niece who lives out of town. I ordered this to be sent to her home for a Christmas present, so did not see the item. The hobby horse was cute, but did not make the galloping sounds and the battery was not accessible.

Batteries are not replaceable

My daughter really loves her little horse, and it did a great job. Then the batteries went out of life and with that the whole product. Simply I don't believe you can replace them. What a waste of resources. This is not sustainable in the year 2022. Plus my daughter is now sad. Unless I totally miss something, but you can't replace the batteries.

Nice product but disappointed. It didn't make galloping sounds. Too much trouble to send it back for that reason.
