Won't insert flush into slot

I really like these, but might have put too much weight on them. I have two of them under my photo booth, and it appears they've developed flat sides where it's been sitting in my garage. When I moved it the other day, it was like a shopping cart with a bum wheel; ba-thump, ba-thump, ba-thump. Also, the flanges on the wheel cover lay flat against the main L shape that mounts to your case. Unfortunately, the add extra thickness around just *part* of the outer L bracket, which means it won't lay flush against your case in the slot you cut.

Noisy and not smooth rolling.

These wheels didn't live up to my expectations. I had hoped they would be smooth like roller blade wheels. One came packaged shiny and new the other came packaged but appears used and the rubber was dented in a couple places. Both are kind of noisy and roll a little rough. The low profile design is nice but requires extra effort to install. I would recommend some simple cheap casters instead.

Good Fix for Tuba Cases

One of the applications for these wheels - Repairing the broken or missing rollers on tuba cases. Decent quality and much sturdier than the OEM units. Good for a number of applications - especially cases with 45 degree angles. On Tuba cases without 45 degree angles, you may need to build up with fiberglass or epoxy.

These work great. Only reason for 4 stars is that some of mine had welds on the corners instead of bonded metal. Had to return them to get ones that weren't repaired with welding at the factory.

Pleased So Far

I've been using a pair of these for a few months now for a synth case. They're well-built, hefty steel construction, and have proven durable so far. The only minor niggle is the mounting surface isn't flush, meaning either modification of the mounting surface to make it flush, or living with it like I did. See the product image to see what I'm talking about. Still, for the price, well worth it. Would buy another set or recommend to friends.

Glide your speaker cabinets like they're on rollerblades

Wheels were a great replacement for my subwoofer cabinets, which used a hard, smaller wheel. These wheels are more like rollerblade wheels, and they glide nicely along surfaces. My only issue is that they will leave a bit of a mark on certain types of flooring if you drag them instead of rolling them... but you shouldn't drag your subs.
