Way more than just rain pants

I am an adventure racer and I originally bought these rain pants for the mandatory gear list but they have quickly became my “go to” outer layer for everything. They are so versatile. On cooler windy day I throw a base layer under them and take out my fat bike. Really cold days I throw 2 layers in and hit the x-country ski trails. I just finished the St Croix 40 mile ultra race on skis and wore these the entire time. I love they easily zip over ski boots or hiking boots. If you need ventilation while hiking just unzip them. They have been completely waterproof for me. I plan on taking them to a 6 day expedition race in Brazil next month. If I had any cons it would only be two small things. No drawstring in the waist but I fixed that with some paracord. Second thing is I am only 68” tall and they are a tad long. It’s not a problem especially for cross country skiing but with my hiking boots I do cuff them by flipping them under. I saw some other reviews where people said they rip but mine have not and I put them through everything so far. I have camped in them for 3 days straight and not had a single problem. If you are on the fence I would say don’t be, buy them now !

Pretty Nice

These are good pants. I'm 5' 10" and the XL I bought for my 214lbs made then 8" too long, so there is that. With boots and gators no problem. Not doable otherwise. Keeping them.

What’s up with odd reviews??? Awesome overpants!!!

So odd to see the reviews here. These unzip ALL the way up if you want to remove without touching your shoes, and yes they’re a bit longer but have a nice way to cinch the cuffs. Maybe people don’t understand how to use zippers or what rain pants are for??? These fit in my backpack and are light and simple to use every day you need them. Size is perfect. Honestly, for a portable rain pant, there’s nothing better - just like my precip jacket.

TOO LONG. The length is cut for giraffes or some other super long legged creature.

I'm a 32" inseam and the XL has to have a 36" or something ridiculous inseam. The legs cover 1/2 of my boot. I had to return.

No belt loops or cargo pcokets.

It would have been great if it had some waterproof cargo pockets and and some belt loops for people who likes to pack while going out doors.

Best value in a rain pants

I like the quality, fit, comfort, and value for these incredible lightweight rain pants. I use them when fishing, playing golf, or any outdoor activities in the rain. I need to buy the jacket next!

Excellent rain gear

These are very good, light yet durable rain pants. I use my bike a lot for commuting to work and these pants allow me to do this also when it rains. Excellent quality.

Torn after one use

I have used Marmot rain gear for years and I have been happy. I bought these pants and used them once for a mountain climb and when I got home they had two separate tears (larger one pictured). I was disappointed to say the least. The fit was nice and I don't believe I scraped any sharp rocks. They are replacing the product and hopefully I will have better results.
