Envelopes are as described. Their boxes were taped as if they had been opened and then reclosed. I have ordered them before and never had this happen.

Perfect fit for homemade cards
Unlike other reviewers, I thought the envelopes were a perfect fit and sheerness was not an issue. It’s a greeting card envelope so I don’t really care if the envelope is like card stock, I just need something to hold up in the mail, which it did. The price point was also acceptable so I’m happy with this purchase.

Just what was expected

NOT AS THICK AS THEY SHOULD BE!
These envelopes are okay, for mailing letters or bills, but not really that great for sending out greeting cards. I purchased them to use with my handmade greeting cards but they were way too thin and I was afraid they would not survive the postal service, so I had to order other envelopes! The envelopes are listed as 24lb paper, but it is the thinnest 24lb paper but feels more like 20lb. I gave it 4 stars because I can still use it and it is suitable for notes and lightweight invitations.

Very Nice Envelopes to Have On Hand
I did not buy these Mead Standard Invitation Envelopes for any specific purpose, just to have them on hand for when the need arises. So far they have been used to send out handwritten thank you notes, invitations, letters to relatives, and just to take something to someone without losing it or getting it dirty. They are very nice envelopes, just the right thickness and they seal up very well. Good price for this many.

Really thin, and not great quality for the price.
Fast delivery but for the price compared to local new agents, I wouldn’t buy again. Really thin, maybe 90 gsm.
