Excellent and well crafted

Excellent and well crafted. Very comfortable on the hand for delicate work. The leverage is good for grip, but the jaws are very smooth. I use them all the time for finagling small gauge wire in crowded electrical cabinets. The smooth surface allows for control without damaging the thin shielding on 24 gauge and smaller wires. Their size and shape appear to be useful for getting into tight areas that regular knurled needle nose can't, but I wouldn't recommend them if that is your first priority. These are designed not so much for brute grip (though as I said - the leverage is excellent), but more for protecting whatever you are holding with them. I would also like a pair of knurled ones exactly like these, but I have yet to see them for sale anywhere. Anyone know if they make them?

Small version

Very thin pliers good for specialty work. I do not recommend for your only pair in your toolbox. Very high quality!

Well worth the price

Well made, precision tool, well worth the price. This is my first set of angled needle nose and I can't believe I waited this long to get one. Makes it easy to get into tight spaces and it's an improvement even in not-so-tight spaces.

No Spring

Disappointed that there's no flatspring or anything. I work on small electronics, so a spring loaded tool like this would be a LIFE SAVER.

Excellent bent nose pliers

These are essentially a set of Knipex 3111160 needle nose pliers with angled noses. That helps to get in to hard to reach places...

Not quite what I hoped

These came quite a bit short of the quality of was expecting, based on past purchases of Knipex tools. The finish is inconsistent at best, the grind on the tips is not even. That said, the critical parts work the way they need to, and they still exceed the quality of most of the other small pliers I own. Perhaps it's the Prime "tax", but $42 just felt like a few bucks too much --as soon as I picked them up.

Very poor quality from Knipex

Not the normal quality I expect from them at the price. I've got plenty of their tools and the grinding on the tips is very poor, corners rounded over so the tip does not have full contact. Rest of the quality is of an ok standard.
