check parts before you take your car apart
This price is a very good value. I have seen these for sale as high as $85. My mistake was to remove my instrument cluster and have my dashboard all torn apart, before checking the parts. My bad. Amazon has been accommodating and offered me a full refund. It took me another week to get a good part. Perhaps you can learn from my mistake. The repair was relatively easy once I got good parts in hand (I found a youtube video). Apparently this is common failure with the OEM gears disintegrating over time.

Cheap and easy fix for your odmeter
Cheaper than the Mustang restoring parts places. The gears fit properly and appear to be a better plastic than OEM. Fixed my odometer/trip meter right up!

A fast Easy fix for a common problem!
I recently had the Odometer stop working on my"95" Ford Mustang Gt. I called a repair shop and was quoted a price that left me shaking my head no. So Then I watched a video on how to fix the problem. I soon was on Amazon searching for the part. I saw a few that were much more expensive. Then I came across this one. Well Long story short I soon had the part ordered and was very happy to see it arrive DAYS early. And The part was an EXACT fit. From the time I started the repair to the finish of it 30 mins did not elapse. And now for a Tiny fraction of what the repair shop wanted My Vehicle is fixed and I am VERY happy. I recommend ordering from these guys because they have a quality part and fast excellent service. I give 5 Stars all the way across the board.

Great DIY Item - Save You $$$ Hundreds at The Repair Garage
I repaired my 1994 Ford Mustang odometer with these and had no problems whatsoever. Found a great set of DIY instructions at odometergears.com and took only about an hour to take the cluster panel out of the dashboard, remove the old gears and replace them with these new ones. This package contains 2 gears: 1 worm gear and round gear. I recommend changing both gears even if only one of the original gears is broken. I made the mistake of only changing the round gear, which had broken teeth, but I left the original worm gear intact because it looked fine. Bad mistake. The original worm gear eventually broke in half 3 years later and I found myself having to remove the cluster panel again to finish the job. Do them both at the same time and you won't regret it. They're actually very easy to change out once you have the cluster panel removed.
