Perfect for windy porches
I bought this over 12 years ago and over that time the bristles did get worn down but I love this because in the Texas panhandle with winds gusting to 70mph and averaging 40mph it never flew away. The weight and open pattern on the edges helps it not get lifted by high winds. Also, the bristles really help get boots and shoes clean. However the bristles are not to comfortable to walk on in bare feet but small enough to walk around should you need to venture out barefoot.

Heavy Duty Door Mat
We originally bought a similar door mat at a big box store 20 years ago. The big box stores no longer carried these when the first one wore out and we couldn't find a door mat heavy enough to stay in place during high winds (we live near the top of a hill and it can be very windy at times).. But we finally found a similar one at a specialty shop while we were travelling. It wasn't quite as large, heavy and thick, but it did the job. I started looking for another replacement and was having trouble finding a good heavy doormat. I finally checked Amazon and found this doormat. It is larger, heavier and thicker than the one it is replacing. And the price was right so we bought it. We couldn't be happier. It is heavier and thicker and a little wider than the one it is replacing. I expect it to last 7 to 10 years, and to stay in place during the heaviest winds.

Good mats, not so thick
We bought these because of the lip on the sliding doors going outside to make it less of a trip hazard. I’m happy with the mats, but they aren’t thick enough to do what we bought them for. I thought the description said 3” thick and they aren’t.

A Doormat you can be proud of
This is a fantastic door mat! It is wide enough to fit below the entire front door. It is well made and will clean dirt off shoe bottoms for many years to come. It was exactly what I had hoped for! In addition, it is beautiful to view. I am delighted with this purchase!!!

Worth a little more
Well worth paying a little more to get a matt that's a little wider - the right size to fill the width of the front doorstep. Durable. Black trim & highlights set well against our brick exterior. All-weather, functional, looks great!

Beautiful design
Nicely constructed with sturdy materials; however, its backing does not last more than a year while exposed to rain and excessive heat in Florida.

Better than expected
This is attractive, sturdy, durable and thick. It is better than its description and the color was exactly the same as in its website photo. It has held up through wind and rain and freezing temperatures and still works well and looks new.

Quite small.
The last one I had was from Costco and it was quite a bit larger. This one is very small in comparison. Also, it was double the price so overall rather disappointing. Would not purchase again

Beautifull in the beginning and horrible after first use.
The carpet is really pretty. However the quality is very poor. After first shoes wipe on this carpet, parts of the design started to fall off. If I knew that this would happen, I would never spend 45$ on this crap.

Excellent size and quality...
Good size, good quality, good looking at my front door. Nice and thick. I’ve had it about 6 months now and it looks brand new. Seems to be standing up nicely to our Canadian winter. I would recommend it and I would buy again. Seems like it will last awhile though.

A great outdoor wwelcome matt.
I've bought many of these and this is by far my favourite. It's just a little bigger, thicker, and better quality than I've bought before. While higher in price, it's deffinitly worth it.

High quality that looks great
This rug looks great at a front door entrance and I’ll bet it will last well for 2-3 years. If so, I’ll move it to the back after 2 years and buy a fresh one for our entrance. Love it!
