These filters are very effective at controlling the odors from our compost pail. Easy to install

It fits, of course, and is an effective odor absorber. The purchase was simple, not particularly iow-priced, and delivery was slow-ish. So, it was "OK," but not a great buy.

Perfect replacement filter set, effective at neutralizing odors.

I bought as replacement filters for my one-gallon, stainless steel compost pail. As other reviewers have noted: This set of 2 includes one round and one square filter to be used together. This will not last you two refills, only one. I notice a difference after replacing the filters, it does a good job of neutralizing odors. Just make sure not to let any moisture or food waste directly touch the filters as they will need to be replaced sooner. When I start to notice fruit flies hanging around, it's likely time to change the filters. Be careful not to overpay for this set, I've noticed the price has tripled for this set in some instances.

LOOK CAREFULLY!!! Set = 1 Square and 1 Circle filters

OK, I think this is pretty misleading. If you look closely at the picture, there is 1 circle and 1 square filter (set of 2). I re-looked at the product description but no where does it actually say that hence my misleading comment. The filters are quite thin, maybe they'll do the trick. Even if they function well, I still think the seller should have been more transparent about the 1 circle and 1 square filter in the set. Had they done that, I would have probably purchased a different set. I know it states it in the questions and answers but for real, who is going to really read all that for a $6 charcoal filter set, you're not buying a car here.

Good for diaper pail

I bought these to see if they could handle my son's diaper pail. I did not pay enough attention and did realize that there were two different shapes of filter in the bag - one is a circle and one is a square. It does not really matter to me, since I am just taping it to the lid of the pail. Also, the square one is much thicker than the circular one. So far, so good in the diaper pail, but it has only been a couple of weeks, and I don't know for how long the filters will last.
