Could be Louder but Does What I Need It To

Installed in under 3 minutes on my road bike. I like the bell and I sometimes ride on paved bike paths that have walkers. I usually yell out “on your left!” but that is largely ignored. The bell in combination with the yell works great. It could be louder for sure, but it’s loud enough to annoy my riding buddies. Honestly not sure if being louder would make any difference as so many walkers have earbuds in their ears and can’t hear a thing anyway. On a rough road it will make some sound as it vibrates. Doesn’t bother me but might annoy some. Also, New York State Bike law says a bell is required - mostly an ignored law - but still the law does say that. So now I am also legal - bonus!

Nice quality but not loud enough

Very clear, loud, comfortably high pitched and resonates forever. Oh and looks good. I can see if the alignment is off and something is touching the bell it may not work effectively. This one is perfect. Will buy another for my other bike.

I like the fact that the chime sounds very nice it has a nice pitch to the ears I would buy this one again for another bike

Easy to install, not very loud

Easy to install and looks great BUT it’s not as loud as I expected it to be. I will probably end up getting another one solely because of the sound level. Everything is great.

Great if installed correctly

This is a great bell if installed correctly. Make sure no part of the bell is touching any other bike components. 4 stars since I think the fastening mechanism to the bike could be more sturdy

Its pretty, when it works, its a nice sound

Its a beautiful thing to look at. When installing you need to ensure the mount is not touching the metal of the actual bell resonator on top or it doesn't ring properly. I'm good at adjusting things and can get it adjusted nicely so the sound is excellent but it seems to not stay put and every ride it needs to be adjusted and repositioned. There is also a touch factor with the spring/hammer that activates the bell. I can ring it fine but 100% of every other person who sees the pretty thing and tries to ring it makes a dull thud with it. Its about a light touch and well persistence to have such a pretty thing on your handlebar.....

Fehlkonstruktion für Rennräder bzw. alle Räder mit Drop-Bars

Die Klingel ist laut und ist am Rennrad relativ unauffällig. Deswegen hab ich sie gekauft. Bei der Installation musste ich nur leider feststellen, dass die die Idee zwar gut ist, die Umsetzung aber nicht. Also ungefähr wie bei meiner ersten Knog Oi Klingel, deren Feder nach ein paar Wochen kaputt ging. Das Problem: einerseits passt die Klingel nicht an meinen 31,8 mm Lenker (dafür soll sie aber passen, steht auf der Packung), ohne das werksseitig angeklebte Leder abzureissen. Und als nächstes muss ca. 80% des Umfangs der Klingel komplett frei sein. Und das ist am Lenker ein Problem, denn was verläuft unterhalb des Lenkers bei Rennrad-Lenkern im Normalfall? Richtig, Bremsleitungen. Und wenn die Leitungen die Klingel berühren, dann klingelt es nicht. Für Leute mit vollständig im Lenker integrierten Leitungen könnte das gehen (wenn die Klingel denn auf 31,8mm gescheit passen würde). Für den Rest nicht.

unbrauchbare Konstruktion

Die Klinge ist schön und fertig gefertigtt. Auch die Produktidee ist toll. Der Klang ist ausreichend laut. Aber, es lässt sich nicht richtig montieren. Wenn mann alle Unterlegummis verwenden muss, ist der Bereich, den die Anzugsschraube braucht zu gering, die Klingel ist nur schwammig und zu schwach befestigt, also , zumindest bei mir. Das ist ein ungutes Gefühl beim Klingeln, und sicherlich fällt die Klingel irgendwann vom Lenker. Kurt Müller-Wissmath P.S. Erst jetzt, nach dieser frustrierenden Erfahrung, habe ich entdeckt, dass in der Verpackung unter dem Formteil eine Gebrauchsanweisung und ein zusätzlicher Klebestreifen verborgen ist. Jetzt ist es zu spät, habe keine Lust mehr. Es würde auch nichts am grundsätzlichen Problem ändern.

Klingeling.....neee......Kling!

Die Fahrradklingel ist aus Metall, was sehr gut verarbeitet ist. Das hat natürlich seinen Preis! Ich habe leider die falsche Grösse bestellt. Wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil ???? Jetzt ist die Klingel fast an der Lenkermitte montiert. Das geht auch. Bis jetzt hat mich jeder Fussgänger gehört und das ist ja das wichtigste! Durch die gute Qualität des Metalls, klingt der Ton lange nach. Und man kann auch gut mit Winterhandschuhen den Hebel betätigen. Ich würde sie jederzeit wiederkaufen....dann aber eine Nummer kleiner!

Stylish und klangvoll!

Ich habe jetzt die zweite dieser Klingeln im Einsatz - beiden an Rennrädern. Das Gute an dieser Konstruktion ist, dass sie nur sehr wenig Platz am Lenker beansprucht (der ist bei Rennrädern meist knapp). Das Teil ist so schmal, das passt immer irgendwo hin. Brems- und Schaltzüge kann man entweder daran vorbei führen oder unter dem Befestigungsring durch, was ich sehr praktisch finde. Genügend Material zum Unterlegen für unterschiedliche Lenker ist auch dabei.

schönste KLINGEL

Wer eine wohlklingende Klingel sucht, die optisch auch sehr schön klingt ;o)) hier ist SIE die Klingelingling ich find sie wunderschön vom Klang und der Optik Diese Klingel ist meine Frau für immer - ich freu mich auf uns ;o))
