Just because something is trendy, doesn't make it great.
I used this as my main shampoo for about a year - intermittently using alternatives for deep conditioning, and to color protection - but in the end, I stopped using it altogether as I found it was somewhat drying to my hair. I may try it again, but my hair has definitely benefited from a 4-5 month break.

Use this for beautiful hair
I have been using this, alternating it with Shue Uemera mask, and I am very happy with it. Gave a bottle to my daughter and she is ecstatic with it.

I like the way the product smells and goes on but I don't think it's doing anything amazing. I wouldn't spend money on this again.

Must buy
So sometimes in reviews it’s tough to decide weather or not it’s good, this product is a must buy for blondes and it’ makes your hair incredibly smooth and soft and silky and shiny and managable and fabulous again. I know with being blonde we loose a lot of moisture and get tons of breakage and after just one use my hair is back on track! I’ll continue to buy this and you have to get the purple shampoo to go with it as well.

I NEVER write reviews...
I read reviews often, but almost NEVER write them. This is worth writing about. I have naturally strawberry blonde hair, but do highlights two or three times a year. On top of processing, I was experiencing hair loss and was using a very drying topical scalp solution which added to the fragility of my hair. I've been using the No. 5 Conditioner and shampoo for three months now and my stylist told me my hair hasn't felt this good in a long time. I was using another high-end salon brand for years. Even after years of use, I did not get the same shine and moisture that I got with just a couple uses of Olaplex. I have not experienced hair thinning and loss (and certainly hope I don't). I will revisit this review if that begins to happen, but for now, I couldn't be more thrilled with the results.

Suspect it is fake
Received this item and suspect it is a fake. Item was much yellower in colour than previous bottle and the QR code on the bottle has been scratched over so that it cannot be read by QR reader. As stated on the Olaplex website 'All our consumer products contain QR codes on the bottom back side. If a QR code is missing, scratched off or tampered with in any way, do not buy it as the product could be fake, expired or diluted. ' The fact that just the QR code on the bottle has been scraped out, and no other damage to any other area of the label makes me suspect that this has been done because it is a fake product. Amazon were great at accepting the return of the item, and I will be buying from now on where I can guarantee that I will receive genuine item.

Knock offfffffff
Im pretty sure this isn't the real thing... you know when you have had an olaplex treatment, your hair is unbelievably soft and shiny, didn't get this at all. Bottle doesn't look the same either i will be requesting a refund as you dont know what chemicals are in this if it is a knock off, i worked hard to get my hair the length it is, so im not happy using something on it that may damage it...

It’s a miracle
200/200 would recommend even to my worst enemy, because even narcissistic bitches need nice hair. My hair was a mess from bleaching and using heat etc and my hair stylist finally had enough of my shenanigans and cut 3 inches of dead, split ends off (cue the sobs). She told me to get this stuff, and it’s like I have a whole new head of hair!! (I’ve also stopped using heat) but in a matter of 3 weeks, I’ve seen a huge change. I use it 1-2 times per week. Absolutely worth the money. Get it.

DISAPPOINTING PRODUCT
The worst product. I was left with extremely dry hair. I couldn’t brush my hair I applied hair oil, cream and my hair looked still dry. Like a broom. PLEASE save your money and your time.

Buy this now.
Ok, its pricey. Your salon says its great but then again you have heard this all before. I have shoulder length brown Irish bottle dyed salon dyed hair cut by the husband during lockdown. Its been through the mill. I left this on for 2 to 3 hrs and washed off. Used GHD and boom. I have hair that feels like its just been coloured as in the hair feels filled up and not dried out, its silky , floppy and I cant feel any difference in the ends and the roots. A little goes a LONG way a good malteser size blob (we shall use a chocolate reference thanks to Covid )will do past shoulder hair. Will purchase again and would even get as brave as to say will get other in the range. 5 star.
