Easy and Convenient

I have been using this product for about a year, and really like the convenience. I use this for my crested gecko with an automatic misting system, and the cups hold up for the day or two that they are in the enclosure. I did notice that the cup does tend to absorb some of the moisture from the food mix, so I usually just add a bit of extra water if I am putting the food out early. I am lucky to have a composting service, but in general they may be a bit more wasteful than just reusable cups. I do think they are nice to have on hand, and it does make taking care of your pet a lot quicker and easier, especially for pet sitters.

Save the earth, feed your critters

I use this because I feel terrible using so many plastic cups and I dont want to scrub a tiny metal cup. I have done both scenarios and you could probably just toss this whole think with old gecko paste right into your compost. It holds up well to mixing and it doesnt absorb the moisture from the food.

Love these !!

These are very sturdy, the hold up well and I’m glad they’re eco friendly! I have a more natural habitat for my gecko and these hold up really well inside of it.

Nice product

I love the compostable cups. This size is larger than I need, and can use as it doesn't fit in my dish holder, but it does the job until I can get the smaller cups again. Overall great product.

Great idea, expensive long term

The concept for these is great. I LOVE that theyrr biodegradable. I wish we could utilize them. However, I live in a VERY dry climate (around 30% on average) so the water dries out twice as fast due to it also absorbing partially into the cup. They don't last long.. you can't resuse them once they get soaked, which happens after about 2 days. So we go through these much faster. I don't feel guilty tossing them out, but they run out too quickly. As awesome as a lifted magnet ledge is, I'm considering just going back to milk jug lids. Less waste and cost.

Great product and better for the environment!

These are the best cups for disposable use. I have an off the wall holder for food and water. The cups that are available are usually too small or shallow. These fill up the whole holder and are biodegradable. That also means you need to switch out the cup every couple days otherwise it will get soggy. Highly recommend.

Better than plastic but dries food out more?

Love these for the fact that we aren't throwing away plastic cups any more for gecko food. Fits great in the large ledge but seems that the paper absorbs water from the food more, so we add a bit extra water. Haven't tried for a water dish, we just keep reusing/washing plastic ones because not sure these would hold water so good. Kind of pricey too....

Seems to absorb water- but doesn't get soggy

They work great as a replacement for the plastic cups, and being biodegradable is way nicer than the other plastic cups. The only flaw (which I didn't dock any stars for) is that they seem to absorb water from the gecko food, They do not get soggy or anything, my food just dries out faster than usual.
