Doesn't stay in place

These sticks didn't fit tightly so my birds kept falling. It's a cheap product so I don't recommend buying it.

Perch gives my parakeet a pedicure!

These perches actually trim my birds toe nails and she loves them. Big change for an old bird. She adjusted to them immediately!

Made for thick cage bars

One of my wooden perches was crooked, and I kept trying to straighten out the wood...to no avail. The plastic tips are farrowed on each end of the stick and designed to grab the metal cage bars, but these tips are cut wide and shallow. They are made so shallow that the ends would not hold onto the metal. The metal cage bars must be thick to keep the sticks stable...my cage is for a parakeet and therefore the bars were too thin to hold the plastic tips steady. The sticks were useless for my bird's cage, so I just threw the sticks away. Sending back items to a vendor cost more than the product...unless the product is defective.

I returned these

These perches are small in diameter and the ends with the grooves for the cage wires to grip were plastic and too shallow and would pop off easily. I returned them.

Bought for a parrot

Bought this for a parrot I have been caring for who ate through his previous perch which broke. It has been four weeks and this is still as good as new.
