Pretty nice

I have my beta in a 5 gallon tank. He seems a bit big to really enjoy this. I think it would be best for smaller fish. But it's nice otherwise.

Decent for $10

It’s okay it gets algae on it so I have to remove it and wipe it with a paper towel. At first my fish wouldn’t have anything to do it and then he came to really dislike me so now he intentionally spends a lot of his time in it.- so my fish would suggest you purchase it.

Nice product. 2.5 gallon tank .

My beta Marshmallow is skeptical of his new cave. I don’t blame him … squidward is a butt face. Anyway, he wasn’t even invited in. So, I hope after Mr. marshmallow goes in he’ll love ???? his little cave. Does have a few rough edges. Sanded it down & rinsed with warm water.

It's nice....but not perfect

The look of it is very nice and looks well made however I have to deduct a star because it simply does not sink on its own. You will need a thick substrate of at least 2 inches to push this down into to hold it in place or do like what I did and put some small stones on the inside lip to weigh it down. Also I recommend soaking it on water overnight because it will have some residual colour come off and change the water colour slightly but after an overnight soak it will be fine for use.

Paint flakes off in water

I bought this for my aquarium 9 months ago and it's been sitting under water all this time. Last week while doing a water change, I found large paint flakes had peeled off from the inside of the ornament. I had to drain the entire tank to get all the paint out as it kept breaking into tiny pieces when I tried to get it out using the filter. The ornament itself is quite nice and if it's not going to be submerged, it should be fine.

Floats in the water

We had to attach fish weights to keep Squidward’s house from floating. This seems cheaply made compared the Spongebob and Krusty Krab decor. When holding the three, this one seems lighter and flimsier. I would have returned it, but my daughter really wants all 3 items aquarium ornaments. I am curious to see how it will hold up.

The media could not be loaded. The colors are bold and vibrant. It's a great size, not too big. My daughter loved her bath time tonight. One thing; I read "resin" and I thought "durable" but no unfortunately. These probably won't survive a toddler throwing them. Overall I'm happy ????

Does Squidward know he has a celler ?

Ideal addition to our son's large Spongbob themed tank.( he already has Spongbob's house. WARNING soak this product overnight in cool water as it turned the tank water green !!! Heavy well detailed copy of the well loved but grumpy characters house. Remember to tip it upside down once in the tank as air gets trapped in top of head. Fish were soon swimming in and out of mouth (door) & eyes (windows). Inside base edges a little rough but no problem as buried in gravel. Adds new dimension to tank.

Buying this made me happy at the time. If you receive it and hold it in your hand and think it should do more - like I did. It can't. It doesn't. It won't. It's an inanimate object. It can make you happy regardless.

Looks good and fish loved it. Sanded down the sharp'ish edges and soaked in warm water prior (no colour released), just to be sure.

Not fit for purpose , put it in the fish tank and it floats , won’t sit at the bottom
