Great Product for Traveling Pets

This is a great harness for pet protection while traveling. It allows them to move but holds firm to prevent injury with sudden stops. Granted, if your car rolls, it's not going to protect them as well as something that keeps them completely immobile (like a regular seat belt does for humans) but it is a good alternative to completely restricting your pet in the car. It's easy to adjust and put on the dog, even for my one dog who's terrified of leashes. I ordered two of the extra smalls; one for a toy dog and one for a tiny toy dog. It fit the toy dog perfectly (after adjusting the straps) but was a little too large for the tiny toy so I had to by an XXS from another company. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product and would recommend it to fellow pet parents.

Easy on/Easy off

This halter is very easy to put on and remove, even when putting it on an 8 month old excitable puppy. It does help her to walk nice and not pull.

More beneficial than I originally anticipated

I actually bought a few of these for each of my dogs. So far they have worked great. The sizes can be adjusted quite a bit with overlap between the actually harness stated size. I originally bought these just for safety on a longer road trip to ensure that my dogs would stay in place if I had to stop quickly or got into an accident. I found that they also helped keep my dogs calmer in the car too. I can't say for certain why, but they didn't fuss nearly as much when wearing these. It also helped when it was time to get the dogs out of the car as they couldn't just jump out as soon as the door opened.

Not safe for my dogs.

Comes unbuckled if dog steps on seatbelt. I had to attach it behind the seat. Dog gets himself tangled in it & could get strangled. Needs to have an attachment under the chest to be safe. I bought several for my dogs so now I need to hunt down a different style.

Highly recommend

This harness does what is supposed to. We have a little Houdini who can escape no more. He is now well contained in the car and we can easily transition out.

For traveling long distances on Interstate. Very durable and i like the reflective stitching.

Harness to protect dog in car

It fits and it does job but it's a little loose. Got a small. My dog weighs 12.5 lbs.
