This footplate comes with the pin and installed in minutes. It is galvanized so it should not rust and the sides are curved to minimize snagging.

Solid foot to lean on!

There is really not much to say about a trailer jack footplate. Probably one of the simplest parts to install on a trailer, ever. This footplate was cheaper than all the rest...even though I really wanted one of the round versions that are more expensive. Pretty sure these are all manufactured at same facility in CHINA. These are a must have to keep your trailer from sinking in the ground or asphalt on hot days. Also the footplate helps to slide the trailer around just a little if needed. I installed mine on new 2021 Karavan utility trailer with A-frame jack. The jack post is 2" exactly. This footplate fit perfectly with just a little wiggle room and the steel thickness is 1/8", has solid weld, and is zinc plated. It will likely outlast your jack on the trailer. Also the footplate comes with a quick removable pin...as they say your "suppose" to remove each time you tow your trailer, but no one is going to do that. So I used a 3/8"x3" long stainless bolt and nylon lock nut from local hardware store. It keeps it secured nicely, helps prevent someone from stealing it and keeps it from possibly rattling on the provided pin as your flying down the road. I'm happy with my purchase.

Screw hole barely lines up but I forced it to work

I needed to replace the wheel on my 24' trailer since it was plastic and warping with all the weight in the trailer so I got this one. The screw hole was about 1/8" off center to my trailer tongue but the quick connect bolt they provided was a little smaller in diameter so I was able to force it through and make it work. Otherwise, its working just fine. I do wish the plate was a little larger though, but I have a 2x8 under it so it won't sink into the pavement.

Great and tough

Works well and no issues for worry of slips or tilts. Easy installation. Worth the money for a RV.

Simple, but quite useful!

I recently purchased a trailer and the jack stand came without this foot plate. So I purchased this one among the 20 or so other options available on Amazon. Came in quickly and fit just as it should have! Simple to install and helps the jack stand from digging into the ground or damaging the pavement.
