Very cushioned

Considering the price tag, I love these The price tag is important here. They don't clamp on. And they take some effort and a little Windex to install. I prefer clamp on grips so they can be swapped out easily. But for under ten bucks you can't be choosy. My problem with riding is that my hands go numb quick no matter how I hold my bars. I wanted to try a grip that was soft and cushy instead of firm. But all the clamp ones are pretty firm rubber or plastic with a rubber coating. These are soft and very cushioned. They do an excellent job of padding my hands to prevent pressure on the nerves that make them go numb. I've tried a couple of higher end ergonomic grips that are supposedly designed by NASA engineers and built using rubbers that were harvested from trees of the gods and what not....whatever. All of them hurt. These cheapie grips are so much easier to hold for long periods. They are pretty grippy too. The rubber is soft, not slippery. they don't look fancy because they aren't. These are very utilitarian. But they get the job done. To install rubber grips I use Windex. Spray it on the bare handlebar, and spray one time right into the inside of the grip. They'll slide right on. You'll have about 20 minutes to be able to adjust them before the Windex starts drying up making them stick. It might take a day (or two depending on temperature and humidity) for the Windex to completely dry from under the rubber but once it does the rubber grips will be stuck firm. This method has worked tried and true for me for years on various bikes. These grips were no exception.

I recently purchased a used bicycle for my wife and it needed new grips, the current ones were supper comfortable but they had became sticky so i decided to go with the same brand. I had never heard of Profile Design before but i am glad i got them. They are very reasonable and the install with ease, after instillation they stay put and are very friendly on the hands. When i bought them i went ahead and got some for my bike as well. needless to say i will stick with these for my grip choice in the future. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great bicycle grip.

Great price.

Great bike handles. Easy to get on if you use rubbing alcohol or hair spray. Coat both the metal handlebar and the inside of the rubber handle to use this method. Put the handle on the handlebar before the alcohol or hairspray dry. Installed in under a minute.

thin profile and excellent tackiness

I bought these because of the nice color and reputation, never having bought one from this company before. It mounted easily with alcohol and immediately was secure. The end caps/covers did not go on well. No matter. I reused my old one. The business side of this grip is excellent. Very comfortable for long rides.
