Great tool!

I used this tool to take off old caulking from the edge of a shower door. This tool made it a quick job!

Useful painting tool

Its helped me scrape away raised paint, cut out silicon, its a thick metal so it doesnt give like a putty knife.

Not very durable for everyday use but for a homeowner it would be fine

Did not scrape wood, sturdy and comfortable grip

First time stripping paint, this red devil scrapper 4251 was and is great because my hands did not getcsore, the scraper has other edges for more uses I have not gotten to yet. I have a new found respect for people that do this as a hobby. I do not find refinishing wood fun or relaxing.

Multi-use tool

This a multi-use tool. Scraping, prying any use you may need. Good to have in your tool belt.

Perfectly good tool

There's lots of tools like this out there, but this is about the best I've used. It's got some heft to it, the edges that should be sharp are, and ones that shouldn't be aren't. This is a replacement for the first one I bought, because my son "borrowed" it.

May not be genuine product

no sure this is a genuine red Devil product as there are a number of inconsistencies. First it is made in Vietnam, second the handle is very low quality and has a sharp edge where it sandwiches the blade in the middle. Therefore when you are using it on a stubborn item you are literally cutting your hand. The blade seems thinner then the original product and has some sort of resin coating on it, as you can see the runs of the resin on both sides of the blade.

Beware! Plastic Handle

Terribly disappointed! The handle is hollow plastic, which is not suitable for a hand tool. I would not recommend buying this particular tool at all.

Cheap overpriced plastic rubbish

Terrible multi tool / scraper, I use them all the time as a pro painter. It’s very cheaply made, the way the plastic is stuck together makes the handle quite sharp. It’s hard to grip because it’s too flimsy, the hammerhead piece fell off the bottom pretty much straight away. I’m shocked how bad it is for the money, I have used the brand before and it was a good scraper. This is very disappointing. The purdy or Monarch ones are a lot better. Save your time and money and order a different one!
