You need this when you buy the controller!!!!

The thing that makes me mad is they don't exactly tell you that you need this part in order for the brake controller to work the brake controller does not directly connect plug and Play. Other than that it was super incredibly easy to install did it in about 15 minutes with minimal tools and minimal electrical experience

Simple to Use

Made hooking my Reese brake controller to my 2013 F-150 wiring harness quick and easy. The factory harness is already installed and secured under the dash if you have a trailer towing package. This adapter is simply pre-configured to match the socket on the back of the Reese controller to the factory harness. The truck comes with a wiring adapter in a plastic bag to fit the factory harness behind the dash, but you need to splice the wires to your brake controller if it's not the Ford integrated brake controller. It was worth the price to me to not have to splice the wires, but to plug and go with secure connections.

Need better fit info

Amazon said it fit my truck, it didn't. Had to return, it set 4 engine and trans codes and wouldn't go in gear. Found another one that wasn't supposed to fit but it works perfectly

You probably need this!

My Ford F 150 came wired for a brake controller and this harness is a simple plug and go from your Reese controller to your factory harness. Really simplifies the installation!

The harness doesn't work with F350 super duty as published, is different at all

Fit and works on my 2017 F150

This plugged right into each harness and made my brake controller work fine for my camper! Ford dealer said they probably don't make one to fit. Thanks!
