Little bit broken

Like the other purchaser, a couple of bits of plastic in the bottom were broken. The box lid was also wide open. Not sure if someone returned it for being broken or what. I put tape over the broken part on both sides of the grate to keep bugs from falling through. If I wasn't lazy and needing this asap I would return it.

Sure, the tube is kind of useless since you're coating and feeding pretty much immediately so the crickets don't have time to crawl up there. The lid is a little tight but you don't need to screw it all the way down so it works great. The little swing door is great! Give them a shake and move the little swing door and jiggle em out to your favorite buddy! It is so great I bought a second one for when they need a different powder.

Decent

The tube is black, I thought it would be clear. The clear cap on the end is kind of cloudy so you can't see how many crickets are in the tube. There is a piece on top that swivels over the tube's hole for when you shake, but there's no plastic bump or any kind of thing to stop it from spinning 360 degrees. You have to be careful with it.

Great idea that needs a little work

It is a nice idea, but needs better work on the threading as it always seems like it’s grinding when you open and close both the lid and the section you put the calcium powder in.

Love this

Makes feeding a lot simpler. Mine also came with a black tube. It shows and says clear in description. The black makes it impossible to see if the crickets are in it. Lid is hard to get on and off. I suggest putting coconut oil on the threads

It works, but...

4 stars because it does work, but it’s hard to get it unscrewed. It makes the most obnoxious sounds while unscrewing it that my dog barks at it every time I get it out.

This is a super amazing time saver

This is a super amazing time saver! I used to just put my crickets in a baggie to coat them but I would waste so much! This is perfect to save my calcium and multivitamin. You should grease the screw lids though-they WILL squeak like nails on chalkboard. Use a food grade oil (coconut is what I used). I honestly will most likely buy another so I don't have to switch the dust when I need to use a different kind.
