Works great

Between dogs and a potty training toddler this stuff is used daily. Smell isnt overpowering but it keeps our carpet fresh and clean

What did I do wrong?

The rug wasn’t very dirty, but one spot of dog urine got worse and worse the more I shampooed it. I used the rug doctor and thought it was gone, but once it dried the spot seemed to have turned rancid. Again and it was even worse. One spot that I could smell when right on it turned into a whole room of acrid stink. I rolled up the 8x10 rug and tossed it because of one spot that wouldn’t get better.

Excellent results on puppy stained rug

My new puppy made ample use of my living room carpet during the house training ordeal. Ample use! I tried this product, as I have never been really satisfied with any other rug shampoo. I pretreated the stains with a solution of 4 ounces product/gallon of water, and then used the same strength solution in my Hoover Vacuum Rug Shampooer. I would describe the results as spectacular! All the stains were removed, and as usual a pretty good slug of dirt was removed also (it's always pretty disgusting when you clean your rugs and see just how dirty they really were). This is a great product, better than Resolve in my hands. I really didn't notice the scent, so I can't comment on that. The only minor fault I find is the liquid does foam quite a bit in the "dirty" tank, so I had to empty it more often than usual. Small price to pay for these great results! P.S. Knock on wood, the dog hasn't used the carpet since cleaning-maybe there is something in the scent that discourages marking.
