Finally Found This

Finally found this after hearing great things about it. I have used it to seal various direct-contact-with-weather areas along with a potable water tank and it’s worked perfectly. The great thing about this is it is safe to use with drinkable water storage so you can use it on the connections. It’s flexible, so it won’t crack and it doesn’t peel. You have to put effort into cutting it with a blade. Easy to use, this stuff can stain so wear proper protection including gloves. For whatever reason HD and Lowes don’t carry this so finding it here was great. I would assume it’s a decent price, I just don’t have anything to compare to. Would definitely buy again.. and have.

Good sealant

Use it to seal some fittings on a boat. It has good adhesion, and paintable. I have been using 3M 5200 I like this sealant better...

It’s the wrong colour

Bought this product in white, went out to my trailer to use it in the roof and when I put it in the gun it came out black. Amazon replaced the first one and I bought 2 more. Just arrived today and still they are labeled white only they have black caulking inside. Kinda screwed now as I needed them right away to seal the roof before it rains. NOT HAPPY WITY THIS ISSUE

Awesome stuff

This stuff is amazing , I used it to seal my headlight , so flexible but dries really nice and stays flexible , also used it on my car window , no more leak , attaches very well to glass and metal and plastic , now im going to use it on my roof its awesome. Also got here really fast and we are about to get so much rain thanks amazon .

Ordered twice both times tubes were expired.

Ordered this product and it arrived quickly. The tubes were both expired according to the date on the bottom. Set up a return with Amazon and reordered 2 more and they were also both expired. I’ll be returning these and trying to source them locally. I give up. Sika makes great products but I’m not willing to take a chance when they are expired.

Easy peezy

Came very quick. Great product drys fast. Though it can be a bit messy like any caulking/adhesive product. I accidentally leaned in a bit of it that had been on the grass. It's been 7 days and my arm is still covered in it. So seems to be pretty durable and long lasting.

Fantastic stuff!!

This Sikaflex 221 is amazing!! UL listed for potable water (black, gray, and white). I used a tube that was expired 1 year ago. After talking to an RV mechanic, if it flows good. If its solid, don't use it. Mine was still in very good condition. It is like a tar texture and worked great. Wear gloves, as it is really stick and won't come off your skin for days.
