Decent

I bought this as an extension for my 1500 bench, to get more length and to have a bunch of 3/4" holes available for assembly purposes. It's good for both of these needs; not as robust as the main bench, but that's not a real concern for my needs here. I think the attachment could be better; it's adequate, but I was left feeling that it could have been done better. Overall, satisfied with the purchase.

The platform itself is just as solidly made and well constructed as my Sjobergs workbench, but I had to use a straightedge and shim the brackets where they attach to the bench to get the platform level with the main bench. Once I invested the time and effort doing that it was fine. Would be better if the steel brackets were a little heavier gauge steel but it really isn't springy. Very nice to have the extra length added to my bench. I do like that the dog holes are 3/4 inch so you can use any of the standard 3/4 inch bench dogs and devices on the market since you can only use 1 inch dogs on the main Sjoberg bench. Overall, glad I bought it.
