Heavy duty

Definitely overkill for most needs. Then you run that long cheap extension cord and attach it to a drill or saw that draws a lot of power and see smoke coming off of the cord and wish you had just gotten this ahead of time. Now you’ve either ruined a cheap cord, an expensive tool or your hope to get the job done. Best price for a quality cord on Amazon.

Quality for less money!

This has certainly met all expectations, & at a lower price! Mine came in green instead of orange, which I really like. It does have the stripe on it like the orange one. The light lets me know my outlet hasn't blown a fuse if my weedeater or anything else stops working, so that makes troubleshooting a lot faster! I like knowing it has enough amps & gauged high enough to keep whatever I plug into it running safely without harming the motors. It is heavy & still enough (a negative I thought, but turns out a positive!) that I've had NO tangling issues even after uncoiling it from storage. Most all heavy gauge cords I looked at like this cost much more, but this one is very well made & not cheap at all.

Nice cord

I bought this as a dedicated indoor cord and it's great. The cover is slightly grippy so it can be a hassle to pull around corners but it's a good quality cord so 5 stars.

A tiny bit of the coloring (both the yellow and the stripe) rubs off on surfaces like carpets, clothing, and skin. It's not so bad that the casing itself is visibly discolored by the loss of the pigments, but it would definitely show up on a white carpet. In fact, I have this hanging on a hook in my garage it's not like I have big yellow stain on the drywall. But I would not recommend this for any application where it would spend a lot of time on a light-colored carpet.

Nice heavy duty cord

This is a great heavy duty cord for running high amperage power tools when an outlet isn't close by. Lighter duty cords cause a voltage drop when running high current which isn't good for the tools and is also a fire hazard due to the heat created in the cord and plugs. This one is reasonably priced and a great deal as long as you don't mind the colour (pink with green stripe).
