Well made but not for our purpose which is 6.6 GPM /400 GPH .

But the Wife now has a neat sounding Kazoo to blow into to make cool sounds . No sweat here she likes to annoy me with it ,and I totally have ot coming.

All 3 sizes are only 1/4" of actual flow (read seller's description)

As is clearly stated in the item description - the internal flow channel of all three differently sized items is the same - 5mm. I wanted 1/2" and the only thing that is 1/2 inch is the flange on the 5mm channel. If you're counting on full 1/2" flow, this will reduce the flow! As it turns out it was an acceptable (if undesirable) reduction, so I kept it installed. It does work well. And there was nothing devious about the seller or the description, I just missed and and want to call it out for others. I thought this product was the answer because I just couldn't find reasonably priced flow indicators much above 1/4". I was fooled (again no fault of the seller) so hopefully you won't be.

Not sensitive for air

Not very sensitive for air flow. I measured 2.5-3 LPM before the indicator will spin. The brochure that is included with the device says a minimum of 2 LPM is required for use with air. They should specify that in the product description. The 0.5 LPM specification is for liquid, most likely water.

So simple its GREAT!

Its so simple its fool proof!! I used it on my tap beer co2 line to tell if i had a leak. Simple, well built and is perfect for me!

only works at moderate to high flow rates

if you're using this to indicate flow where there is very little flow, (less than say, 1.5 gallon per hour, as an educated guesstimate) it will not work. the spinner in the middle doesn't spin. a little dissapointed by that.

Cool tool to show flow

Works exactly as advertised. A great little tool to show flow. The package came with a great tip on how to install, which I estimate saved me a hour of frustration.
