This products is light only, birdie not included

Haven't got to use because the ad for the product looks like you get the birdie, but it's only the glow stick that goes inside the special type of birdie. So now I still have to order the birdie because I thought it came complete together because of the pictures they had viewed for the product.

Works well for Speedminton

The glowstick system works perfectly, and I've had a lot of fun knocking these around at night. I normally play badminton, and used these as an alternative to the item I'd really like to have bought; luminous shuttlecocks (which doesn't exist, I don't think). If anyone else is thinking of using these as a badminton shuttlecock substitute they should be aware of the huge performance difference... these things reach land about ten times further than would a shuttlecock struck with the same power.

SOOOO FUN! Easy to see

These are great for these birdies. Even during twilight the tiny glowstick makes it easier to see the birdie. Also, 24 hours later it still had some glow. Might be able to get two nights out of each one. VERY VERY HAPPY with this purchase.

Its fun

Its fun give it try. On occasion these will slide out of the birdie, but only because we wacked the heck out of it. The laughs we had were priceless. People would walk by and stop to watch us play all the time. We met some new friends too, I think they liked us for our glow in the dark badminton.

Works great!

IT is kind of expensive for very small glow sticks but I can't find it elsewhere. It works great, bright and last 2-3 days if you keep it in the fridge when unused. PAckaging is great.

Works Great - Uber Long Lasting

These speedlights work great. Really glows brightly for such a small glow stick. It last for many hours without fading of continuous use, It can last more than 1 day if put in freezer after using (with normal fading over time.) Note: This would be so much better if they made the speeder (birdie) glow in the dark. But for what this product is, works well.

Really not worth it..

I had purchased these with high hopes. Oh, and the special shuttle cock, sold separately of course. They do not last that long and they aren't very bright. In addition, it was definitely evident that some were brighter than others as we had 3 different games going at once. By the time you can see the light, it is too late to position yourself for an accurate volley. It's a neat idea, but these need to be brighter. Perhaps if they were LED..

So expensive!!

19 dollars cad for 8 little glow sticks??!!! I just naturally assumed it including the birdies and no birdies just the sticks. You can buy a pack of 50 little glow sticks that are used for fishing lures that would fit in the birdies for 37 dollars . I will be returning.

One-way plastic pieces, made even worse by bad quality.

First of all I love crossminton itself and the rackets and shuttles from speedminton are generally of high quality but this here is a huge miss. Not only is it part of throw-away culture, those one-way and discard plastic stabs are also highly unreliable. From my experience you have 50/50 chance of them working properly. I had them breaking after a few minutes of play or not lighting up as expected and glowing dimly. I was certainly expecting something more akin to the innovative spirit of a company that invented the sport. This might seem quite obvious but... Why not use some of the kinetic energy from the impact itself and generate light for the shuttle. With proper choice of materials it could conceivably even vary in intensity commensurate to the power of the collision.

Lösen sich leicht vom Ball - platzen auf

Diese Stäbe sind absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Erstens lösen sie sich leicht vom Ball, wenn man etwas fester zuschlägt. Außerdem kann es passieren, dass die Stäbe aufplatzen und sich der giftige Inhalt über Schläger und Spieler ergießt. Ab in den Müll damit. Und dann noch dieser unverschämte Preis für diese unterirdische Qualität.
