Purchased one, then got a bigger one.

I got the regular size first. It was sturdy and provided shade for my head or my legs, but not both at the same time. Then I exchanged for the XL size which provides full body shade as long as my legs are not out straight. It is very sturdy and very adjustable, even at odd angles. It clipped onto the squared edge of my porch railing and the round bars of my beach chair. Folds ip nicely into the carry bag. Lightweight. I wish it had an up and down telescopic feature. You just have to play around with it and bend each section just the right way. The buttons at the joints are a little difficult to push in. You definitely need 2 hands unless you’ve got a strong thumb. This held up well in strong winds. Very happy with the XL size umbrella.

Super easy to use and super versatile!

This umbrella was great. I am a high school track coach who is outside in the sun everyday. This umbrella kept me covered all day and adjusted easily when needed to account for the sun moving. The only thing wrong with it is that I wish it was just a few inches taller. Definitely worth the buy!

Best beach umbrella I've ever bought

I bought this last summer, and I'm coming back now to say how happy I am with the product. The last three times I've been to the beach it has been extemely windy - as in the guys who make money renting umbrellas say it's too windy to rent umbrellas - and this little umbrella has stood up fabulously. I'm not saying I didn't need to grab it in a few gusts, and you can't leave your chair by itself if you don't want it sailing down the beach, but if you're looking for a great personal sunshade that's easy to carry and attach, this is a winner.

Perfect for tight spaces!

This is the perfect umbrella for use at sport games. Where my son plays lacrosse the seating is very limited so having a small and effective umbrella is so nice. As soon as I put this up on my chair I instantly feel cooler. It’s nice to have so many adjustment spots on the pole, it takes a little getting used to but makes it very versatile without encroaching on your neighbors space. I highly recommend! Just ordered another one for my husband.

Great for casual use

I use this umbrella attached to the side of my pool for personal shade for my face and my iPad. It also gives shade for my little dogs. Since it’s out in the Florida sun all the time; it’s fades and rusts. This is my 3rd umbrella, but I keep buying them because it provides the amount of shade I want while I’m in the pool.

Good enough

I use it at work to block out the sun that the blinds do a poor job of blocking through the enormous window in my office; especially those little peep holes where the string goes through, that's where the sun surprise attacks my eyeballs. You can still see sun coming through the umbrella a bit, but it's better than anything else for the price.

It didn’t rain

Bought this to attach to my wife’s power wheelchair. We were participating in the annual Walk MS that every year it rains. This year thought I would make sure my beautiful wife was covered, then it didn’t rain. This umbrella attaches easily to the chair, and can also attach to other types of chairs, even beach chairs.

Worked fine for the little I needed to use it for

Enjoyed and needed for sun protection. Loved that it was adjustable but didn’t stay on securely kept slipping. Not good on a windy day. Little bit of wind and your chair tips over.

Good shade

This product is sturdy and appears well built the only negative would be the clamp. It seems no matter how hard I tighten it will not stay in one place. (I have it on a stainless rail) to fix that I usually lean the umbrella against something and it stays in one place

Smaller Than Description, Less Sturdy Than Hoped

I bought this for photographing sports events in the rain. It does provide reasonable protection of DSLR with long lens, and me, from rain / sun. The clamp fits around my monopod hand-grip solidly, arms easily adjustable, which is great ... but the sturdiness of the articulated joints is not as good as I had hoped for. I worry it may not hold up to wind. It is also smaller than the Amazon product listing specifications. The canopy is actually only 38-inch x 39-inch, not "40 x 42 inches." It folds down to very compact size, carrying / storage bag included.

Not as sturdy as we’d hoped.

The adjustable joints are too flexible, so keeping it in one place once clamped on isn’t as easy as it sounds. Would not purchase again.
