A load of options for improved communications.

This PA/Intercom set up may be the answer to our onboard communications. Run a small steamboat excursion ride business and need to communicate clearly with my crew & passengers. Not looking forward to running additional cables any time soon, but the final install look great and unit does what it say it does. HOWEVER, I am experiencing a consistent rhythmic pulsing buzz, much alike the sound heard when an FM radio is too near a cellphone (RF interference). Our 12V battery set up is passive, no alternator or charger operating, no radios or cellphones in close proximity.........??? All wiring was done according to manual specs, no skips. Is this normal or could unit be defective?

Great marine hailer

Great hailer unit, very pleased. I attempted to reuse my old 8 ohm speakers, they did work, however, I was not very happy with the volume, so I switched to the 4 ohm speakers, and it doubled the volume. This replaced an older ray marine hailer. I am much happier with the new units features and now volume.
