Not as soft and does not lather well,

My 4yo daughter likes it fine, but I'm not that big a fan. It's not that soft, and does not lather very well. Fits my hand ok, but very big on my daughter. So she only puts it on for fun, not actually using it to wash herself, which I'm trying to teach her to do.
