Does the job and kind of fun

Confession...I'm 33 years old and had never cut grass before today. You see, I was an accident prone child, so I kinda don't blame my parents for not teaching me, and then as an adult my husband always cut the grass. One day in 2015, I witnessed a pretty horrific gas powered lawn mower accident involving my now ex-husband basically saying hold my beer and watch this and running over his foot, and since then I don't even like to be outside when someone is cutting grass. But a situation arose recently where spring sprung around the same time my Karen of a neighbor called the city on me. With my husband out of town for a little while, I called around for a yard guy. But all the yard guys were busy because it's springtime. And between my work schedule and the fact that it rains more in South Alabama than virtually any place on earth that isn't an actual rainforest, I was kind of stuck. So I started searching for something to cut grass with that was more effective than my kids' safety scissors but wouldn't give me panic attacks. This looked nice. The postman left it on my front stoop this morning. There were rain clouds overhead, so I knew I had to at least put it together before the rain started. It took maybe ten minutes to assemble, and that was because I had to mentally work myself up to attach the handle to the deck as the blades looked sharp. Then I managed to cut a good part of the front yard before the rain started, and I was amazed by how fun it was. I was enjoying myself. This felt like maybe it was exercise. You hear that pleasant whooshing sound this thing makes? That's the sound of self-sufficiency. If the power goes out, or gas prices go way up, I can still cut grass any time, except when it's raining, which is often, but still, a little at a time and I'll have it done. It's not super fast and you do have to rake first, and I'd recommend weedeating, too, but this thing works and works well. I can't wait to use it again.

Prefect for a small yard

Our lawn isn’t too big. It’s a pretty good size for this no motor mower . Very recommended if you want to get away from the traditional mowers. You will need to put in a more work if the grass is taller. Which is expected . 10/10

Great exercise!

I bought this mower to use in my flower garden and be able to get walking steps in for the day. It is a workout as you must walk fairly fast so the blades cut the grass. I really like it but there are some types of grass it will not cut very well (I do not know the name of this grass ) This is great cardio too!

Just doesn't cut grass

I've adjusted the tension, and blade height, and just can't get it to cut the grass.

Waist of money and time.

Went to together easy, but only worked at first. Problems with it since first use. I ended up buying a craftsman to even be able to mow my lawn. Waist of money.

Easy to assemble

This is a convenient way to mow a small lawn when you don’t need a power mower. The mower was easy to assemble and use. My only warning would be that it arrived 2 weeks after the promised date.

Best for relatively small yards. I have a gaz mower but prefer cutting my yard with my Sun joe.
