Locks worked fine but hardware failed

I installed 3 locks on my old boat. I used the boat last weekend and there was a bit of a chop on the lake on Saturday. When I went to lock the compartments one set of nuts/washers had adjusted themselves down the bolt. When I tried to lock the Battery compartment the hardware had disappeared into the bilge area. Be certain the nuts are secure. I may add a lock nut to the end of the bolts to keep this from happening to the other locks. I am thankful that there are two pawls in the package. I will use the second one on the rear compartment.

Hole location!

CAUTION! This is a good product but make sure you're boring the hole in a proper location. Allow for clearance for the nut which is, of course, larger than the hole. Otherwise your lid might not shut all the way. Instructions could be better or would be 5 stars.

May require trimming if using to replace latches on the battery lids of a Skeeter ZX225.

Quick shipping, easy to open packaging. Easy installation. The keys are a universal key, so one key will unlock all of the latches. Great way to keep thieves out, or at least slow them down.

Great product!! One issue.

This item has the lock such that the TEE handle cannot be lifted. This is exactly what I was wanting. The only issue that is that when the unit is unlocked and the TEE handle is turned 180 degrees (unlocked), it is not flush. There is a screw head that sticks up. Usually when fishing, I like to fish bare foot and this is an issue. I am forced to keep the TEE handles engaged when fishing due to the screw head.

Good Product, perfect fit for pontoon Storage Door

Product was solid. Fit like a charm seems to be pretty sturdy. More than the stock one that obliterated after a few trips. Only wish it came with more than one key. It's pretty small and I'm sure I'll lose it one day.

Great latches

I purchased 5 of these latches and they all came with all the parts except keys! I got 2 keys with 5 locks. The two keys I did get were not inside a little plastic bag but just loose inside the container so I bet they fell out somewhere. They were not in the box they came in.
