Their are 100 patches at .015 BLACK POWDER COTTON SHOOTING PATCHES.

Perfect thickness for a 490 round ball to shoot in 50 call. Or other calibers. The Thompson Lubricated .45 to .50 Shooting Patches are completely non-toxic and biodegradable, so you can use them in the field as well as on the range. Thompson Center has designed these particular roundball patches for .45 and .50 caliber muzzleloader round balls and there are 100 patches per bag. Tightly woven cotton patches are resistant to burning. Shooting Patches are designed to fill the space between round ball and barrel to provide proper seal and travel down the barrel rifling. lubricated with Thompson Center Natural Lube 1000 Plus Bore Butter for faster and more convenient loading. allows me to shoot longer between cleaning fowling from bore. Saves me the hassle of lubing my own patches . As you may or may not know bore and bullet diameters vary and one has to experiment to find the best combinations that work best in your barrel.

Really liked because they were prelubed. Came in two packages so didn’t have to open them all up at one time.

These are patches, not wads

Picture is deceiving, these are not felt wads but greased patches. Think they are unnecessary and really not what you want to do, put grease next to the black powder. Won't use them, waste of money.

Not the large size

I though these were standard 2 1/2" patches but they are like the size of a quarter - this is not what I needed and a picture of the actual package that they come in would help people to know what they are getting.
