Prep and cleanup time is lengthy

I purchased the unit to perform a detox on my body. It seemed to take a lot of time to prepare the juices. The cleanup required a lot of scrubbing on the screen. Then the ginger blast not palatable for me. I am not really happy with my purchase.

Good jucier

I like the juicer but the clean up is time consuming and must be done immediately. The toothbrush provided cleans the screen best by brushing inside out while running under water. You should freeze the parts that come in contact with the produce after cleaning. Rinse plastic parts with water to thaw. The pulp is a little moist so I'm thinking of buying a champion press and removing the screen on the Green Star for use only to grind the produce and the champion press for extraction.

Worse then previous green star models

I am the number one fan of green star, but this juicer does not produce as much juice as the previous models. If you are looking for a great juicer, try green star but a previous model, you will get much more for your money out of your fruits and greens.

This machine worked for me as expected

I have used GS 1000 for 10 years and now, with this upgrade to GS5300. I expect I’ll get another 10 years.
