Peg board screws

I like the idea of the spacers between board and wall but the screws were too large for the holes in the board. My son used a drill to enlarged the holes, he needed. He made it work. So far so good. Where the screws were seen, I did a stencil a design. The price was good and I got a lot for my money. The concept is a good one.

Low quality screws best for drywall

Good kit with enough spacers, anchors, and screws for a 4x8 pegboard if you plan on hanging heavy stuff. The problem is, I was screwing the board to the wall studs because my garage is unfinished. I drilled appropriate pilot holes, used the right speed and torque settings, but the screw material is very soft and are just made for stripping. Got several of them half way in before I had to use vice grips to tighten the rest of the way but still managed to snap a couple heads off. The screws are just made of soft material. I couldn't drill the pilot holes any bigger if I wanted the board to remain secure under load. Using WD40 helped a bit. Still, I recommend using your own screws if you plan to mount directly to wood.

Worked perfect with my craft peg board!

These were perfect for hanging my peg boards on the wall and having enough space behind them to put the hooks in the peg board. Worked great for me!

A beginner can do it if you know where to go for instruction

I found an extremely helpful video on YouTube and the used these anchors. I ordered from Amazon, followed the video instructions, and they worked perfectly. I put up two pegboards. The second one was actually done better. Instead of placing the holes on the very corners, place the anchors a few holes down and in from the edge of the board.

Best way to go for hanging a pegboard.

Worked great! I was worried because some reviews said this didn’t leave enough clearance behind the board for the hooks, but so far this has been perfect. So glad I did this instead of framing. I did spacers on the corners/border but also one dead center, which I think has kept it from bowing.

Only takes up one hole of pegboard per each screw and spacer.

Only takes up one pegboard hole per screw and spacer. Blocking would instead take up a lot of useful pegboard space.

Easy to use

Product need instructions on how to install. Had yo consult YouTube to learn from someone else. Once I figured it out the were great.
