The dowel is missing. Unclear how to get a replacement.

This arrived fast but the dowel that makes this stackable with the others I have is missing. A bummer as the main attraction was being able to change the order these three are stacked in or stacking a book on top of it too. Unclear how to get a replacement -navigated to brand page and filled out a help request but not sure if anything will happen. It's a nice product but not worth the price without all the parts. Searched the box and packing. Maybe a fluke. Reach out please if you can help.

Quality?

I received my first one and it was a scratched. I spoke to customer service and the only thing they would offer is for me to return the item. I went ahead and ordered another one, so that I could return the first one I received. I just received this new one and it’s also scratched and the paint is off. In fact, you can see where the paint came off and covered with lighter pink paint??
