Good Size

Although this is a decent product I wish it was oven safe, and maybe some handles would be nice, I have a long walk to my grill and sometimes when I use it I struggle to carry it with everything else. Over all good value.

Sturdy marinating/serving tray

Great to have a tray that serves as a marinating tray and a serving tray all in one. A bit heavy, but that makes it sturdy. I live in a condo with an outside barbeque. I barbeque often and usually have to bring whatever I'm marinating in, something to hold the cooked food, and some kind of cover (I usually use aluminum foil. Now I can bring this marinating/serving tray (and aluminum foil) and eliminate carrying 1 more item.

good quality

This marinating and serving tray is sturdy and looks well-made. The size is just right for maybe 4 good size chicken thighs. The good thing about this is you can marinade/flavor your meat, and use the top plate in serving the dish when cooked. It is not microwaveable though. Overall, this is a good size set for your cooking needs.

Not what was picture

I'm not sure if I was sent the wrong items, because the colors and designs on each matches the picture, but the red dish was very shallow. I was expecting a deeper dish to put meet and marinade in. What I got was essentially two platters. Neither will hold any significant amount of marinade. I suppose you could put it all in a Ziploc bag and put it on the platter, but I had hoped for something different. The platters do seem to be of a good quality.

HEAVIER THAN EXPECTED BUT WORKS

It’s hard plastic not really rubber material It works great at store and marinate Then taking out the items ( vegetables , meat or fish) and place them on the lid wish has deep ridges to allow the excess marinade to drain off before placing on grill Works BRILLIANTLY EXCELLENT IDEA FOR GIFT BAKSET FOR NEW HOMEONERS

Great for small cookouts

I already have two of these grilling trays in the original large size, but found myself cooking less for the whole family this past year. I was excited to receive this smaller tray because the size fits my needs better and as a nice bonus it has a marinade tray that stacks underneath. I've used it once to marinade some chicken breasts with a soy sauce base and it cleaned up just fine with no staining. I don't typically marinate meats, however, and have also found the base handy for carrying out the raw meat and putting the grilled finished meat on top. That's what I do with the original two-piece tray set I have--stack them. One for the raw meat, the bottom (clean) tray is for the cooked product. No cross-contamination risk. As I've only had this set for a few days I can't speak for its longevity, but I've had my large trays for about four years now and they're still going strong and look basically the same as the day I unboxed them. A word of caution--melamine will get EXTREMELY hot in the microwave, if you're unaware. It will BURN you. Don't put this stuff in the microwave or oven. It's totally fine in dishwasher though.

Sturdy, made well!

Perfect Medium size Serving trays for any event, not flimsy at all! This package of 2 prep and serve trays, will be perfect for the outdoor barbecue and marinating, they will also be great for any foods being served! The sturdiness of these trays feels amazing, I feel that they can hold quite a bit of weight if needed. It is nice that you have 2, one for the raw food and one for cooked food, as that is always an important part of my cooking. The grooves on both trays keeps the food from sliding, very easy to clean. I will use these for my every day use as I am always needing a small tray to carry food or for presentation when serving.

Good To Have

This marinating tray is very practical, and not just for marinating. It keeps the flies away from the meat until it’s ready to go onto the grill, and once done you can use the lid as a serving plate. I like that it’s color coded to prevent accidental cross-contamination. He tray is quite heavy; it won’t take flight across the patio when empty. I wish they would offer it in larger sizes as well as different colors. I’m not a fan of the red, and this doesn’t go with anything else in my house. How about some cool greens and blues?
