Reasonable value
After 18 years, this slider valve in our spa started leaking. Since it's designed to be glued into the PVC pipe, I had to engineer new pipe, unions, and elbows to make it fit, and remove the old plumbing with a saw. The project was easier than I anticipated, a way less expensive than if I had hired a spa technician. If you're a bit of a DIY person, this is definitely a project you can tackle without worrying much about leaks. I watched some Youtube videos (ie. "how to replace PVC plumbing in a spa"), and they gave me the confidence I needed to do the job myself.

Good Construction
I liked the make of the product seemed very robust. I had to return because it wasn’t the right layout for my project. It was too bad because I liked the look of the valve.

Dropped and broke
I did state that I dropped it. I was in the hardware store looking for fittings and whilst in Home Depot I dropped the shut off and it broke into 2 pieces and leaked whatever oil was inside it on the shut off. Had I not felt oil I wouldn't have know it was broken. Point being, the ball valve shut off's that are in the hardware store are MUCH stronger than this shut off and the length between connections was the exact same. Only a couple bucks more but buy the hardware store shut off. Works exactly the same, fits exactly the same, and you could throw it against a brick wall and not have an issue.

These do their job
These are decent for the price I would opt to get heavier duty ones from a Spa or pool supply place doesn’t work for now

I simply found a valve that worked better for my application. This one looked solid & a good value for your money, if this valve is what you need.

Exactly what I need. 9 used so far in an indoor irrigation system.
Glues like any pvc fitting. Tight, thick pvc and it looks good too!!!
