Bigger than I would like. Basic strap. Perfect beach like bag.

I own many Vera Bradley purses. I love the crossbody purses. I was curious to try this one because it is a bucket purse. I have seen this on their website. I have looked at it. I considered buying it. I wanted more space in a crossbody bag. My purse contents have increased in the past two years with glasses and a mask and my small little crossbody bag doesn't cut it anymore. In my opinion, This bag is a full sized purse marketed as a crossbody. It is made of canvas. It has a beach bag feel rather than a purse. It is stiff. The strap is adjustable. Taken to the max, the top of this bag comes to the top of my thigh bone. I am 5 foot 7 inches. I don't exactly like the strap. I have had other purses of theirs with the same strap. I feel the strap looks like an afterthought to the purse. The strap is connected to the purse. It is not a clip. I appreciate this a lot. I normally use a strong glue to attach the clip together so I don't have to worry about it being unclipped while carrying it. The inside is extremely roomy. I can easily fit my kindle, phone, glass case, keys, mask and still have room to throw other items in the purse. The top zippers for extra security. Inside: This has an unfinished look on the inside. Unlike other bags of theirs with finished interiors that give it a higher quality look, this is dark blue canvas. On one side is a flap/organizer that can hold my phone. It has a zipper compartment on this flap for other items. It looks like it can fit my kindle. 4 stars- I like the stripe design. I like it zippers. I like the clips. I like the flap organizer on the inside. I feel this is a bigger purse for being a crossbody. I am not crazy about the strap quality though I have had other purses with the same kind of strap. I like the roominess on the inside of the purse. I don't know if I will carry this around on a daily basis. I am looking for a crossbody like this, but with a smaller purse. Good looking on the outside but stiff

The bag is attractive and gives off beach and vacation vibes. I haven't had any issues yet but I'm not sure how easily any messes or spills will wipe off the outside material of the bag. There is some basic organizational structure inside the bag with a few pockets and a zippered area. The strap is adjustable and works well. It's comfortable on the shoulder. The material inside the bag feels like plastic and is meant to be able to be wiped out to clean. But it also makes the bag look and feel a bit on the cheap side. I believe it's the plastic-like interior that causes the whole bag to be very stiff. The bag really needs to be more flexible. As it is, the zipper closure hangs up a bit and it's just awkward getting things in and out of it. The size of the bag is good, a medium size - not too large but not too small so that you can't carry everything you need.

underwhelming

I have a similar pattern in a beach bag style so I was expecting that quality. This bag is like nothingness and could easily cost 15. not to be harsh but I am really not impressed. The strap actually looks cheap and that it may not but substantial enough to last. On the plus side this bag is lightweight but it’s not displaying quality as far as I can see.

Made in Cambodia. Not soft like other VB bags.

Vera Bradley offers a plethora of different purses and bags. Some are very soft, smooth, and flexible. Not so with this one. This one is heavy duty canvas which is very stiff. There are no pockets on the outside. There is a plastic zipper on the top. There are two small open pockets inside and one larger zipper pocket inside their really should have been more pockets on the opposite side, but there are not. The bag has a nice wide base and will stand up. Assuming that you don’t have something top-heavy which is going to make a couple over. Unlike other Vera Bradley bags, this one does not show that it is machine washable. The inside is lined with plastic, so you can simply wipe it out with a damp cloth. This bag is made in Cambodia. Of course at the current price of sixty-five bucks it is well over twice the price it should be, but you are paying a hefty surcharge for the name.
