Almost returned. Buy at your own risk.

Well let's see. Functionally the thing works. But!! The box was damaged significantly. It no longer had form and was more like a tissue wrap held together by shipping tape. It did have holes and that's where the pump handle must have disappeared to, it was missing. You can see how beat up the actual item was. I could barely read the product label. The pneumatic connection is odd to this country I'd say. I had to change it, and thank goodness the threads are 1/4" NPT. But even that seemed to be too snug. Threading possibly slightly off. This bottle jack was also not filled completely with jack oil to the required amount so I had to purchase that separately. The base is also not completely flat, may not matter under load, hopefully. I plan to use it for a H-frame, Shop Press. Bottom line, it works. It looks like crap and i will probably have to repaint it for my taste. It just really sucks to buy something New and get something that looks like you got it at a garage sale. Honestly, I just didn't want to carry this heavy ash thing to UPS to return in the embarrassing excuse for a shipping box. This was already the third attempt to get one of these to my home. One was lost by Amazon Warehouse, the 2nd was returned by UPS probably for a damaged box, and now this one. Still need to test the pneumatic motor, but if that doesn't work I am certainly returning it. AND lastly...I Blame Amazon as well as these manufacturers for not packaging these jacks better. I read plenty of reviews of other people who get their bottle jacks in similar condition. Amazon could place these in their own shipping boxes, that would help. And they could force these companies to either package their goods better for shipping or not let them sell them at all. Okay, I will get off my soap box...it works.

The worst product that I have brought on Amazon

I received the jack an didn’t use it right away. Put it in my shop and about a week later I went to try it out on changing a big rig tire. Hooked the air hose up and pressed the lever and all it did was make noise and the jack didn’t move at all. I tried it over and over again. An the jack Didn’t move.! So I thought maybe it’s just stuck so I hooked up the handle to manually jack it up. I pumped the handle twice an it still didn’t move. So then I realized that the plunger for the manual handle is broken. So by this time I have already thrown the box away an have a $160 jack that doesn’t work. This is a junk product do not Buy!!!

Do not buy. Bought 2 of them. Packaging was destroyed when they showed up. Finally got to use a couple weeks after getting and neither jack work. Waste of money.
