A direct replacement
The Vornado the bulb tray is in keeps the air in our cottage mountain fresh and clean. That's why I used direct brand replacement parts.

The bulb goes on an off.
The bulb goes on and off. It doesn't stay on when the air-purifier is on. Or it doesn't turn on when I turn on the Air-Purifier on. For a new bulb it should last at least a year before it starts going nuts, not just 6 weeks.

Not covered by warranty
Burnt out within 6 months of usage. Called Vornado and they said it can burn out early depending on usage. It's a bulb, not a filter, continuous usage is even rated at 1 year. It was not covered under any warranty.
