A Solid Option for the Right Recovery Points

After a lot of research I'm very pleased with the decision to purchase these WARN Epic Hyperlinks. They're big and beefy; but an aluminum body with a steel pin keeps them light and strong. Not all vehicles provide the same recovery attachment points. Literature states at least 1 3/8" is required between surface and center of hole. Hyperlink fits well on my recovery attachment points, but because of the angle of the hole/hook they hang from, upward force while in use will stress the top-middle against the steel hook and cause problems. Fortunately because of the design mounting options for the Hyperlink are flexible; they're easy to flip around to accommodate different mounting configurations. If you're receiving help (like a quick tug) from another vehicle, the other vehicle's hook or closed-system solution connects quickly and easily to the shackle. More expensive than conventional bow-shackles, removing them while daily driving around town to keep them from being stolen isn't a bad idea. The optional isolators are a good idea to keep them quiet, cleaner, and help secure the pin. I chose black with black isolators to not draw quite as much attention. Very happy with the product. For the right recovery mounting points these are a solid option. And I reckon as people wear jewelry to adorn themselves - these might be seen in a similar light; a little bling - with a high degree of functionality - to complete the package.

Functional Good Looks

Good product but it is dangerous to pull from the side. Overall I would buy again. Oh $43.00 on Warn site under closeouts.

Doesn’t fit other WARN products!

This doesn’t fit the WARN trunk saver which is what I bought it for. Also it’s made in China and way overpriced for what it is. I don’t recommend this at all.

Several design flaws: #1 made in china. So sad #2 cannot pull from the side. In an off camber pull or recovery where a straight on pull is not possible this becomes dangerous. #3 exclusive pin style. If you accidentally drop or loose the pin you are screwed.

It never stop swinging or banging does not include rubber bumper

The media could not be loaded. The size and look is awesome. These never stop swinging so you'll have to purchase the rubber bump stop for them which is also over priced and sold separately. Oh yea these cost more than every other tow accessories on the market and you still have to add washers to keep it from sliding side to side and a bump stop because after paying like $120 with tax for each they were not included. Warn is officially known for overpriced items. Everyone has copied and made better products for less cost now which is why this is ridiculous. I have a 2nd jeep and I won't do this again and since I purchased this around Christmas I have time to return them
