Holds sandpaper securely.

I like the clips that holds the sandpaper in place they are easy to operate. I did have to tear the ends of the sandpaper a bit to make it seat properly but that was easy enough. Sandpaper holds well.

I feel it's too much flexibility in the unit when trying to sand.

This sander is pretty difficult to use

The head is not sturdy and flops around a lot so you have to hold a lot of constant, upward pressure to the sander. The clips on the sanding block make it hard to get your paper on tight and seem to tear your paper pretty quickly. Should be fine for small areas but I can’t recommend for large projects

Real back saver

Have had two spinal surgeries. Wanted to paint my front (wood) porch. Used this with extension handle worked out great. Didn’t have to get on my hands and knees to sand the old paint. Probably not perfect if you have really get into nook’s and crannies but fine for surface sanding. Priced reasonable. Definitely recommend.

This tool makes sanding fun and efficient

I use this tool with the 80 grit paper and an extension pole. I was able to sand down a lot of roughness and together with the other circular tool and finer grits, I can get a very smooth surface for my paint jobs which are doors and interior walls. I even go back and resand some rough areas and repaint them. Sanding is everything for a good paint job. I wish I had known about this principle before I did all my doors and one bathroom. These pole sanders are better and easier to use than an electric palm sander.

Will not take standard drywall sandpaper sheets

This particular device will not take standard drywall sandpaper sheets. You need to cut a much larger notch in them.
